Full job description
Calgary Aggregate Recycling is hiring Excavator Loader Operators. We are looking for a professional who is enthusiastic and safety conscious to work full time for our company. The ideal candidate thrives in equipment but is happy to get out and help when needed.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the equipment while excavating and working around other ground crew.
Responsibilities:
Operate various heavy equipment in a safe manner
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on the equipment; including lubricating and cleaning
Must be willing to assist ground crew when machine is not in use
Excavator – Bulk Excavation – finish grade is not necessary
Qualifications:
10+ years’ experience operating heavy equipment
Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50lbs on a regular basis
Willing to work out of town as required
Ability to work long hours with some weekends and overtime
Must comply with CAR’ zero tolerance policy and complete the pre-employment drug & alcohol and fit testing
Strong critical thinking, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
Must have a clean driving record and provide commercial drivers abstract with resume
