Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Esthetician/Receptionist to join our beauty and wellness team. This dual-role position combines providing exceptional skincare and beauty treatments with delivering outstanding guest services at the front desk. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and expertise in various esthetic services. Responsibilities
- Welcome clients warmly and manage the front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and checking guests in and out
- Perform esthetic treatments such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care with professionalism and attention to sanitation standards
- Provide personalized skincare consultations and product demos to educate clients on our offerings
- Assist with retail sales by upselling products and promoting special packages or promotions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms and common areas in accordance with health regulations
- Deliver excellent guest services by addressing client inquiries, scheduling follow-ups, and ensuring a positive experience
- Support the team with administrative tasks such as inventory management and appointment reminders
- Engage in ongoing training to stay current on new treatments, products, and industry trends
Qualifications
- Valid esthetician license or certification as required by state regulations
- Experience in skincare treatments including body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients
- Knowledge of sanitation practices within a spa or salon environment
- Previous experience in retail sales or upselling is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and vendors
- Ability to handle front desk responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a welcoming demeanor
- Hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for helping others is essential
