Senior Flooring Technician / Crew Lead Charlec Epoxy Flooring – Vancouver, BC
Charlec Epoxy Flooring is a growing concrete coatings company based in Vancouver, specializing in concrete resinous coatings and concrete polishing for residential, commercial, and industrial applications — including epoxy, flake, metallic, polyaspartic, and urethane cement systems.
We’re looking for an experienced flooring professional who can run jobs independently and lead a crew
Job Responsibilities
- Lead concrete preparation and grinding on commercial/industrial sites
- Install resinous coating systems (epoxy, polyaspartic, metallic, urethane cement) and polished concrete floors start to finish
- Mix materials accurately and manage recoat windows, ratios, and timing without supervision
- Direct and train junior crew members on-site
- Troubleshoot issues in real time (substrate problems, dew point, adhesion failures, etc.)
- Manage equipment (grinders, vacuums, generators) and job site organization
- Travel to job sites across Greater Vancouver and surrounding areas
Requirements
- Minimum 4 +years of hands-on concrete coatings/flooring experience — this is not an entry-level role
- Proven experience running jobs independently, not just as crew support
- Hands-on experience with resinous coatings (epoxy, polyaspartic, metallic, urethane cement) and polished concrete (wet and dry)
- Experience across commercial, industrial, and residential settings
- Comfortable leading a small team on-site
- Able to grind and perform physical work for extended periods, lift heavy equipment
- Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented
- Valid Driver liscence and vehicule

- Mix of prep days and installation days
- Job sites vary across Vancouver and surrounding areas .
- Possibility of steady fixed year long salary and paid by % on bigger industrial projects
- Bonus avaliable on large Sq ft jobs
Pay: $40–70$ hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill level
Start Date: Immediate — projects starting next week
