dynamic

Donation Policy and Studies team in our Medical Affairs and

Innovation

division. The Epidemiology Department within Donation Policy and Studies is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by surveillance of blood-transmissible infections in donors, research on donor selection criteria, and evaluation of donor health criteria.

In this role, you will participate in the planning and designing of epidemiologic evaluations, provide advice and be responsible for the data collection and management to support transfusion research activities. Formula for success Leveraging your knowledge and expertise, you will plan and design research projects, prepare and maintain standard research protocols and develop study materials (e.g., develop and test questionnaires).

Concentrating on your proven experience in epidemiology and continuous growth mindset, you will develop your own area of transfusion epidemiologic research consistent with the strategic direction of the department. Focusing on your strong analytical and sound technical skills, you will conduct statistical analysis and provide interpretation of epidemiologic studies. Drawing on your excellent

communication skills

and ability to lead and work collaboratively across a

diverse team
