We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Entry Level Data Analyst to join our data team. This role will support various aspects of our data analysis initiatives, including data cleaning, statistical analysis, and report generation. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for problem-solving and a keen interest in utilizing data to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and organize raw data from various sources.
Perform preliminary analysis and visualizations using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
Assist in creating and maintaining automated data processes.
Collaborate with senior analysts and team members to understand data needs and requirements.
Generate reports and presentations for stakeholders based on analysis results.
Identify patterns and trends in data sets to inform business strategy.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through thorough testing and validation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Excel and/or statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS).
Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in data analysis and visualization.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with machine learning techniques and algorithms.
Previous internship or coursework related to data analysis.
Understanding of business operations and key performance indicators (KPIs).
