Duties

  • Manage life cycle materiel for the Canadian Armed Forces from delivery to disposal, including in‑service support and technical subject matter expertise.
  • Plan sustainment and maintenance, provide technical authority and supply management.
  • Assist in Integrated Logistic Support for major materiel acquisition projects, ensuring effective life cycle management.
  • Apply knowledge of supply chain operations, procurement requirements, engineering processes, quality assurance, and operator/maintainer requirements.

Operational Requirements

  • Occasional overtime may be required.
  • Travel across Canada, internationally, to military bases, and for military exercises in adverse climates.

You Need (Essential for the Job)

  • Education
    :
    Graduation from a three‑year program of study from a recognized post‑secondary institution with acceptable specialization in technology relevant to the position; OR a two‑year program in aerospace‑related technology; OR an acceptable combination of education and/or training with a minimum of five years of technical work experience.
  • Competencies and Abilities
    :
    Demonstrating integrity and respect; thinking things through; working effectively with others; showing initiative and being action‑oriented; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

  • Bilingual – BBB/BBB (may be applied or assessed at a later date)

All candidates must attain and maintain a Level II (Secret) security clearance prior to graduating from the program. Failure to do so may result in removal from the program.
