Position Description:
Romar Elevators is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our elevator installation team full time. We provide all types of lifts: stairlifts, material lifts, wheelchair lifts (VPL’s and IPL’s), residential, commercial, and freight elevators. Our service area covers greater Virginia and North Carolina. We believe in the Hungry, Humble, Smart philosophy.
Position Qualifications:
– TRAVEL IS REQUIRED (compensation included for travel time)
– Experience installing commercial elevators, residential elevators, stairlifts, material lifts, and/or wheelchair lifts
– High School diploma or equivalent
– Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge (troubleshooting, meter reading, etc.)
– CAT or CET certification REQUIRED (or currently enrolled in program)
– Virginia DPOR Elevator Mechanics or Certified Accessibility license (or ability to obtain)
– Computer literacy and writing skills
– Industry specific experience preferred but not required
– Ability to read drawings/blueprints and wiring diagrams

Pay: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour

- Electrical wiring: 1 year (Preferred)
