As a central division of the Society, Regent Christian Academy (RCA) is our flagship campus-based school, serving the community through our Sullivan and Cloverdale campuses in Surrey, BC. We bring the RCAS mission to life through a vibrant, in-person learning community where students from Preschool through Grade 12 engage in rigorous academics, competitive athletics, and the fine arts. Reports to: Vice Principal

Overview: The Elementary Classroom Teacher must be a dedicated and passionate educator who creates a nurturing, stimulating, and Christ-centered learning environment. They will be responsible for fostering the academic and social development of young minds, with a specific focus on core curriculum areas such as Math and English.

Instructional Excellence:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the BC Ministry of Education’s standards and a Biblical worldview.

Classroom Culture:
Create a positive environment that encourages student participation and fosters a lifelong love for learning.

Assessment & Support:
Evaluate student progress through diverse methods and provide individualized support or tutoring to ensure every child reaches their learning goals.

Collaboration:

Work effectively with parents, students, and colleagues, modeling servant leadership and a collaborative spirit.

Professional Growth:
Maintain accurate records and participate in professional development to stay current with innovative teaching strategies (such as “Frenchify” techniques).

Spiritual Integration:
Ability to integrate a Biblical worldview into the BC Ministry curriculum and provide spiritual mentorship.

Instructional Excellence:
Proficiency in teaching core subjects (Math/English) with a focus on student engagement and academic growth.
