Description:Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Electrical Technician is responsible for commissioning vehicles at the end of production and for the continuous improvement of all electrotechnical aspects related to start-up problems. Diagnose and repair problems on production vehicles;Ensure continuous improvement of vehicles in production in relation to electrotechnical problems;Provide feedback to production assemblers on electrotechnical assembly issues;Carry out electrical modifications on prototype vehicles;Perform installations and modifications of mechanical components on production vehicles as required;The electrical technician will be at the end of the assembly line and will be responsible for testing the vehicle’s electrical systems (e.g. lighting). If one of the components doesn’t work, the person will have to troubleshoot to find the fault.
This is high voltage (800V). Tools such as laptops to generate diagnostics will be used. Shift – Day – 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
