Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Foreman to oversee electrical projects within our construction operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing electrical crews, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in electrical systems, and proficiency with construction management software. The Electrical Foreman will play a key role in coordinating activities on-site, reading blueprints, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on construction sites
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems
  • Manage daily work schedules, assign tasks to crew members, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, building codes, and quality control procedures
  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project planning, documentation, and reporting
  • Oversee material procurement and ensure proper inventory management for electrical supplies
  • Conduct site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to project specifications
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate activities effectively
  • Provide training and supervision to junior electricians and apprentices
  • Assist in construction estimating and budgeting activities related to electrical scopes of work

Requirements

  • Proven experience supervising electrical projects within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical systems design
  • Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools
  • Excellent understanding of safety protocols and quality control standards in construction environments
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Supervising experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of construction estimating and budgeting processes is a plus
  • Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and stakeholders
  • Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work are highly desirable

This position offers an opportunity to lead complex projects while contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality construction work.

Pay: $35.66-$57.40 per hour
