Job DescriptionMissionCima+ has a long history of success in Eastern Canada and is made up of over 3000 employees across the country.
Our offices in Western Canada are in the middle of a large growth trajectory. This means new, exciting complex projects that you will have the ability to shape and be a part of. This role will be located in our Rossland BC offices that is situated in the heart of the Kootenay Rockies with skiing, mountain biking, hiking golfing and essentially anything you would like to do to be outside and enjoy in the mountains. All of this, and it offers a smaller community feel with helpful & friendly neighbors, spirited community events and frequent backyard gatherings of friends.
TheElectrical Engineerwill be called upon to manage a portfolio of multidisciplinary projects and electrical studies. We are looking for someone is excited to work independently and is keen to be a key player in and developing business relationships within the local industrial sector. Travel outside of the office and to industrial sites around Western Canada will be required on an ad hoc basis.
Primary Responsibilities
Take part in all stages of projects (FEL1 to FEL4)
Develop technical solutions
Produce drawings and specifications
Produce equipment specifications
Oversee coordination among stakeholders
Provide technical support for various clients
Analyze proposals and issue recommendations for procurement
Produce project schedules
Participate in site surveys
Qualifications
University diploma in Electrical Engineering
Registered (or eligible to register as) member of Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EBGC) or that of a recognized Professional Engineering Association in Canada
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in heavy industry
Very autonomous, with in-depth knowledge of issues related to industrial production
Available to work outside of the office on an occasional basis (1 or 3 days/week)
The expected salary for this position is from $87 570 to $102 165 based on the richness and diversity of the candidate’s experience, training, skills and internal equity. The position or associated salary could vary depending on the profile of the candidate.
