As an Electrical Designer at Qualus, you’ll work under the Engineering Manager – Substations, handling both low and high voltage projects. A minimum of 5-12 years of design experience is required, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and Micro Station.
Your role will include intricate calculations and design specifications crucial for regulatory compliance and project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute electrical design for high voltage substations
• Develop load calculations and cable sizing documents
• Draft security and fire protection design specifics
• Collaborate with the Owner’s Engineer for project alignment
• Facilitate material procurement through take-offs
Requirements:
• Electrical Engineering Technology Degree with C.E.T eligibility
• Extensive 5-12 years electrical design experience
• Familiarity with software such as ETAP and AGI
