Brookfield Electric is seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to Join our team.

Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites.
- Use hand tools and power tools to pull wire, install conduit, and mount electrical components according to schematics and blueprints.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution.
- Conduct basic testing of electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to ensure proper functionality.
- Support the setup and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including security alarms and communication wiring.
- Follow safety procedures aligned with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards, including proper handling of high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Maintain a clean work environment, organize tools, and document work progress for project records.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in a related trades environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical equipment is essential.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics will enable you to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Exposure to industrial or commercial electrical systems is a plus.
- Strong interest in learning about NEC standards, high voltage systems, and electrical safety protocols.
- Construction or frame carpentry experience can be beneficial for understanding structural aspects of installations.
- Ability to work effectively in team environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety compliance. Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
