As part of the Darlington New Nuclear Project, this role coordinates safety initiatives in collaboration with various stakeholders. Applicants should have a minimum of five years of relevant experience and the CHSO or CRSP designation. You will train staff, manage safety reports, and engage with Joint Health and Safety Committees to ensure effective safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement safety management plans and conduct inspections
• Train project staff on safety requirements and practices
• Track safety statistics and manage return-to-work processes
• Develop emergency plans such as evacuation protocols
• Deliver safety presentations and conduct safety meetings
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of health and safety experience
• CHSO or CRSP designation required
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Knowledge of emergency planning procedures
• Valid driver’s license
