This role within the Investment Strategy team at AIMCo requires a talented Associate with a solid background in economic modeling and financial analytics. You will primarily work on delivering comprehensive investment research and forecasting that aligns with the needs of approximately 32 clients. The position encourages innovation and efficiency in our research processes and collaborative ideation with partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own development of economic and financial forecasting models
• Conduct impactful research on economic and portfolio management topics
• Create scenarios enhancing total portfolio stress-testing capabilities
• Utilize statistics and data science for diverse datasets
• Prepare research reports for internal and client-facing communications
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Economics, Finance, or related area
• Masters/Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline preferred
• Over 2 years of experience in economic modeling
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python or R
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
