About the Role
Our client is a growing e-commerce business looking for a motivated and detail-oriented E-Commerce Assistant to support their online store operations. This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity open to candidates across Canada.
Whether you are experienced in e-commerce or looking to build your career in the digital retail space, this role offers real hands-on exposure, flexibility, and room to grow.
What You Will Do
- Manage and update product listings across platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, eBay, and Etsy.
- Write and optimize product titles, descriptions, and keywords to improve search visibility and drive sales.
- Process and monitor orders, returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Track inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers or internal teams for restocking.
- Assist with social media content, promotional campaigns, and basic marketing activities.
- Generate performance reports on sales, traffic, and key e-commerce metrics.
- Maintain accurate records and support general back-office operations as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and overall store performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A diploma or degree in business, marketing, or e-commerce is an advantage.
- Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or digital operations is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, WooCommerce, or similar tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Well-written communication skills in English. Bilingual French and English is considered a PLUS.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic digital tools.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable home workspace are required.
