About the Role

Our client is a growing e-commerce business looking for a motivated and detail-oriented E-Commerce Assistant to support their online store operations. This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity open to candidates across Canada.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and update product listings across platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, eBay, and Etsy.
  • Write and optimize product titles, descriptions, and keywords to improve search visibility and drive sales.
  • Process and monitor orders, returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Track inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers or internal teams for restocking.
  • Assist with social media content, promotional campaigns, and basic marketing activities.
  • Generate performance reports on sales, traffic, and key e-commerce metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records and support general back-office operations as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and overall store performance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. A diploma or degree in business, marketing, or e-commerce is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or digital operations is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, WooCommerce, or similar tools.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Well-written communication skills in English. Bilingual French and English is considered a PLUS.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic digital tools.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable home workspace are required.
