Overview:
We are a Licensed Home Daycare looking for an ECE Student or Assistant to join us for the summer, providing support in an educational setting. This position offers valuable hands-on experience for students interested in early childhood education and caregiving.
Responsibilities:
– Assist educators in classroom activities and daily routines
– Support children’s learning through interactive and educational tasks
– Help maintain a safe and clean environment for children
– Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans
– Engage with children in play-based learning activities
– Assistance during field trips
Experience:
– Previous experience working with children is preferred
– Pursuing or completed coursework in early childhood education is a plus
– Passion for educating and nurturing young learners
– Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
This Student /Assistant role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a classroom setting, develop teaching skills, and contribute to the growth and development of children.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 28 per week
