Glengarry Child Care Society is a non-profit child care society that has been providing high quality care to families for over 50 years. We are located in north Edmonton and are currently accepting applications for a fulltime Out of School Care Educator.
Shifts are 10 hours long with a 2-hour unpaid break and a split shift premium of $100.00/month. Shift hours rotate between the hours of 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. This position is available immediately. Candidates should be creative, energetic, and have experience working with school aged children. A minimum Level 1 Qualifications Certificate from the Province of Alberta, and a criminal record check completed within the past 6 months.
Our centre follows the FLIGHT Framework in both programming, playroom environment, and involving children in nature.

Salary range is dependent on certification level
Level 1 – $17.00/hr plus $2.64/hr top up
Level 2 – $19.50/hr plus $5.05/hr top up
Level 3 – $20.50.00/hr plus $8.62/hr top up
During the month of August, we take our children 4.5 yrs and over on a 4 day/3 night camping trip to a private campground at Lake Wabamum.
