Full job description
Responsibilities:
– Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in the early childhood classroom
– Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
– Provide individualized support and guidance to children with special education needs
– Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding their child’s progress and development
– Maintain accurate records of each child’s attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones
– Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
– Follow all licensing regulations and guidelines for early childhood education
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
– Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
– Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a classroom
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
– Proficient in using computerized systems for record keeping and communication
