Enhance children’s development as a Full-Time Early Childhood Educator at YMCA Dickinsfield in Fort McMurray, AB. Deliver engaging curriculum focused on holistic growth for children ages 0-12.
This Level 1 Educator role provides an opportunity to work closely with children, fostering their emotional, social, and cognitive development. Your responsibilities include implementing YMCA-approved programming, facilitating creative activities, and observing child behavior. This position also involves daily communication with parents to update them on their child’s progress while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement curriculum promoting child development
• Facilitate engaging, creative activities
• Observe and document children’s development
• Maintain safety according to YMCA procedures
• Communicate daily with parents about progress
Requirements:
• Experience working with children preferred
• Level 1 Child Care Certification (or in progress)
• Standard First Aid & CPR – C certification
• Police Information Check with Vulnerable sector check
• Experience with tablets and Microsoft Office
