E-commerce Associate Jobs in Vaughan at ATLAS MACHINERY SUPPLY LTD
Working closely with the Marketing & E-Commerce team, and reporting to the Manager, E-Commerce, the E-Commerce Associate will manage the daily operations related to our ecommerce platform, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for a seamless shopping experience. This role oversees the daily maintenance and functionality of the website including crafting product listings, landing pages and website updates. The E-Commerce Associate will be expected to stay current with best practices to optimize each page for SEO and conversion. This role will coordinate with the Purchasing department, I.T. team, and external vendors for product and site-related technical issues and data enhancements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the marketing, sales and purchasing teams to ensure product listings, descriptions, images, prices and savings are accurate and up-to-date.
Launch new brands and set up new promotions including images, web banners and custom landing pages.
Drive best user experience and design practices along with UX research activities.
Pull data from various sources such as BigCommerce, Google Analytics and Netsuite to help report on the performance of marketing activities.
Set up and test coupon codes for sitewide sales and special offers.
Work closely with customer service to address any customer complaints or issues related to the website.
Manage and implement data attributes at the product level, which involves establishing naming conventions, optimizing for SEO, and standardizing comparison structures across all website categories.
Regularly review, maintain, and verify the website to identify and address any instances of data duplication.
Continuously monitor the website proactively to ensure the accuracy of information and content.
Stay informed of the latest ecommerce trends and AI technologies to drive innovation.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
University degree or College Diploma in Marketing & Ecommerce or a related field from an accredited institution.
3-5 years of relevant work experience, managing an ecommerce website or similar role.
Proficient in BigCommerce, Google Analytics, SEO/SEM strategies.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
Ability to create Landing Pages using page builder tools.
Experienced copywriting skills
Extreme attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to produce and edit creative assets utilizing design and video software is a plus.
