DZ Delivery Driver – Seasonal Jobs in Concord at The Iceman
Highlights:
The Iceman is looking for an experienced and reliable DZ licensed driver to work from our Vaughan location and deliver packaged ice throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Two Shifts Available:
1) Sunday to Wednesday (4 days) 7am to 3 pm (start times may vary slightly)
2) Thursday to Monday (5 days) 6 am to 2 pm (start times may vary slightly)
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Driver Duties
Assist in loading of truck, verify paperwork and conduct safety inspection
Deliver order via the most efficient route and document delivery
Provide effective customer service and communicate effectively with the dispatcher
Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and comply with all company policies and procedures
Requirements
Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Province of Ontario “DZ” Driver’s License
Must have a minimum of three years commercial truck driving experience in a similar vehicle and hauling a similar product and if possible provide an insurance letter of experience
For insurance purposes, applicants must be at least 25 years of age
Provide a copy of a recent and clean driving record (i.e., no major violations) and a CVOR driver abstract (no losses within the last 3 years); must also pass an annual driver check
Ability to lift or move objects up to 23 kg (50 pounds) consistently
Superior customer service skills
Proficient in English and able to follow instructions and written procedures
Delivery driving experience is an asset

Individuals who stay the entire 2024 season will receive a $1.00 for every hour worked at the end of the season.
