Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction processes and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on site.
Duties
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to designated locations.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of materials transported and work performed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dump Truck Driver or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is essential; experience with bulldoze, loader operation, backhoe operation, and water truck operation is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
