We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris across construction sites, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws.
- Skillfully operate various heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, horizontal drilling rigs, tankers, and paving machines to support construction activities.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained.
- Assist with site preparation tasks by operating bulldozers, graders, loaders, and excavators to level ground and prepare surfaces for construction activities.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate material deliveries and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Follow all safety guidelines diligently and report any hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, materials transported, and equipment usage for project documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating dump trucks and heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, horizontal drilling rigs, tankers, or paving machinery.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Construction site experience with familiarity in various types of heavy machinery operation within a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and transportation activities.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards.
Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour
