At Chair-Man Mills, our goal is to service our clients with the highest of service. We rent everything you could need for the event, except for the food, drink and guests. We deliver and pick up party rentals in the Toronto Area and occasionally out of town. We are a flexible and positive employer with many shifts and work schedules to suit.

210 Wicksteed Avenue, East York, Ontario
Schedule: Day Shift
Flexible to work Monday to Sunday. Starting time anywhere between 5:00 am and 7:00 am
Detailed Job Description
Assist drivers in loading and unloading rental vehicles, ensuring that all items are securely placed and properly organized within the vehicle.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of rental vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with questions and concerns, as well as demonstrating basic vehicle operation if required.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, other team members, and customers.
Communicate effectively with drivers, fellow team members, and supervisors to coordinate tasks and schedules efficiently.
Assist in the documentation of vehicle condition, mileage, and fuel levels accurately and comprehensively.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, dress code, punctuality, and attendance.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy or carry items up to 70lbs and work in various weather conditions.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and can show initiative.
CSA approved steel toe shoes/boots.
One day of weekend availability is required (either Saturday or Sunday).
Other Skills
Experience as a residential or commercial mover.
Knowledge of local venues including hotels, convention centers, loading docks, etc.
Working Conditions
Ability to sit / stand for up to 8-10 hours per shift.
Exposure to some warm and cold weather.
