Drapery Seamstress Jobs in Altamonte Springs, FL at Suncraft Drapery
Custom Drapery Workroom in Altamonte Springs, Fl is looking for a full-time Seamstress. Prefer for the applicant to have knowledge working with draperies but willing to train if the skills are there. Must be a proficient seamstress. Ability to use a single needle sewing machine, blindstitch, and serger are a plus.
Duties may include –
Cutting Fabrics; Joining Fabrics (Pattern Matching); Sewing fabrics (Single Needle); Hemming; Tabling Draperies; Pleating Draperies; Tacking Draperies; Ironing
Abilities –
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8"; Ability to perform basic math proficiently; ability to read, write, and communicate in English; Regularly lift 15 – 20 pounds, occasionally lift 40 pounds; Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Work hours are Mon – Thurs 6:00 – 4:30; with some Overtime on Fridays 6:00 – 12:00.
Benefits include holiday pay, vacation pay and personal time pay and production bonus if department goals are met.

This is an hourly position with compensation based on experience.
