Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for caring for dogs in a safe, clean, and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where animal welfare and customer satisfaction are our top priorities. Weekend shifts are required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise dogs during playtime to ensure safety and proper behavior
- Assist with feeding, watering, and administering basic care as needed
- Clean and sanitize rooms, play areas, and equipment regularly to maintain hygiene standards
- Engage dogs in interactive activities to promote mental and physical stimulation
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ behavior and well-being
- Handle heavy lifting of supplies, crates, or other equipment as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of both staff and animals
Qualifications
- Prior experience with animals or in a customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with pet owners and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Passion for working with animals and providing excellent care
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7.0 – 21.0 per week
