We are currently looking for a Dispatcher to join our Concrete Team—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.

About the Role

As a Dispatcher, you will play a key role in coordinating daily concrete deliveries, managing customer orders, and ensuring seamless service from order to job site. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch concrete trucks efficiently across multiple locations
• Respond quickly to changing delivery demands and adjust schedules as needed
• Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Provide exceptional, responsive customer service at all times
• Take and process customer orders (phone and online platforms)
• Prepare and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular communication
• Identify opportunities to upsell or recommend additional products/services
• Conduct engaging and professional sales conversations over the phone
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and customer interactions
• Collaborate with the team to meet sales and service targets

What You Bring

• 1–3 years of experience in dispatch, sales, or a related role
• Experience in construction or concrete industry is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and listening abilities
• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach
• Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills and sense of urgency
• Self-motivated, energetic, and results-driven
• Professional, confident, and engaging communication style
• Basic math skills for order processing and calculations

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions

• Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday
• Hours:
• Tuesday–Friday: Minimum 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: Minimum 6:30 AM – 1:00 PMEnd times vary based on operational demands and final deliveries
• Weekly Hours: 35–50 hours (overtime eligible after 44 hours)
• May be required to adjust schedule to support team coverage
• Peak season (spring to fall) requires flexibility and overtimeWork Environment:
• Combination of office-based dispatching and active operational coordination
• Extended periods of sitting and computer use
• Exposure to outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust, noise) when required
• Fast-paced, high-pressure environment during peak periods

Safety Requirements:

• CSA-approved safety boots required (Green triangle & white rectangle with orange omega symbol)
