Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Cook/Dishwasher. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and food service to gain experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment. Responsibilities: – Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces – Cook menu items according to recipes and customer preferences – Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment – Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area – Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed – Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment – Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods Requirements: – Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred – Knowledge of basic food handling and safety guidelines – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail – Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team – Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required – Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects Please note that all positions at our establishment are paid, including internships.
