Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper Jobs in Vaughan at Novotel Vaughan
At Novotel Vaughan we want to create memorable experiences! We are looking for an outgoing, friendly, and team-oriented Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper to join our team!
Flexibility to work nights evening and weekends.
-Washing of all dishes, pots/pans, flatware and glasses
-Waste removal
-General cleaning of kitchen and kitchen equipment
-Daily delivery of food and supplies to employee cafeteria
-Assists in food preparation (vegetables, salads, and sandwiches)
-Buffet replenishment and clearing food items from the buffet
-Assists with kitchen mise-en-place
-Ensures all food items meet company standards
-Assists with daily operations of hot/cold production line
-Operates in accordance with all health and safety precautions and standards
-Cleans workstation at end of every shift
-Other duties as may be assigned
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
-Ability to do the essential duties of the position
-Minimum experience required: 1 year
-Demonstrated pattern of good attendance
-Thorough and detailed oriented
-Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry and push continuously throughout an 8 hour shift
-Able to stay organized in a multi-task environment
-Able to understand and speak English
-Ability to work with independently with minimal supervision
-Flexibility in shifts: evenings, weekends, and holidays
