Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and availability for food service.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks.
- Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, floors, and storage areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies, preparing food items, and ensuring timely delivery of dishes.
- Handle food handling responsibilities safely by following proper procedures for storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices.
- Buss tables during service hours by clearing plates, resetting tables, and assisting servers as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and special events.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards.
- Experience working in banquet or catering settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures specific to commercial kitchens or hotel environments.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately while working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
