Our client pioneers delivering multi-mission solutions that protect and empower the naval forces worldwide. We are seeking to hire a Contracts Director to join the team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The position can be remote, aside from critical meetings in Halifax.
The position offers an annual 20% bonus, 4 weeks of vacation, group benefits and an RRSP, and long-term growth prospects.

Requirements:
-7+ years of experience in government negotiations, including 2+ years in management (direct reports)-Leading negotiations on the SELL side with large OEMs AND with government-Experience in maritime, aerospace, or defense industries-Experience of drafting and negotiating standard supply and purchase agreements and non-disclosure agreements-Experience managing relationships with key stakeholders
The function is responsible for negotiating the terms and conditions in contracts and ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions and agreeing on any changes or amendments that may arise in the management of contracts made with customers, vendors, partners or employees. This role performs an important oversight function to ensure adherence with internal procedures on bid management and approval, and acts as the conduit between the SBU sales and technical teams and other Group functions including Finance and Legal.
An individual in this role will lead a team to input into the plans of the function, will be responsible for implementing policy and ensuring delivery within the area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the function or business.
