SALARY RANGE OF $100,000 to $125,000
- In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a discretionary bonus.
- Any bonus awarded is determined by the Company and is not guaranteed.
What Will I Be Doing?
The Director of Sales is a key member of the Sales team and sets standards to deliver exceptional Sales experiences. The Director leads, motivates, and inspires the team to achieve ambitious goals by fostering a high performance, accountable, and engaged culture aligned with organizational objectives. You'll design and lead our Group and B2B Sales strategy across Recreation, Lodging, and Food & Beverage, working together with Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations. Together, you will identify new revenue opportunities, fine-tune yield performance, and help shape memorable products that balance guest value, market share, and margin.
- Forecasting, developing, and managing annual sales goals and quotas across Recreation, Lodging, and Food & Beverage to drive strong, sustainable revenue.
- Monitoring market trends, supply and demand, economic indicators, and competitors to keep pricing, product mix, and sales strategies sharp.
- Proactively adjusting selling prices based on costs, demand, and competitive insights to optimize volume and yield.
- Designing and maintaining a structured, efficient lead distribution process that matches opportunities with seller capacity for faster follow-up, higher conversion, and better revenue outcomes.
- Championing disciplined account management practices so our top accounts feel valued, engaged, and eager to return year after year.
- Creating and overseeing incentive programs that motivate the team, reward results, and drive revenue growth.
- Keeping a pulse on emerging sales, product, and experience trends-then turning those insights into growth opportunities in domestic and international markets.
- Mentoring and developing the team to deliver exceptional quality, accuracy, productivity, and truly revolutionary service experiences.
- Building strong partnerships across departments to deliver seamless, memorable guest experiences.
- Ensuring the Sales division operates at peak effectiveness through clear accountability, quality standards, policy compliance, and target achievement.
What Do You Need From Me?
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least ten years of sales experience in recreation industry, ski industry or hospitality, with 5-7 years in management. Experience in sales and service in recreation and ski/hotel is preferred.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, organization, and multitasking skills
- Strong computer skills and experience working with applications such as Salesforce (Delphi)
- High degree of creativity, organizational and process-management skills
- Self-motivated and competitive with strong interpersonal skills
