Role Description: 

We are seeking a Director of Operations to work directly with the Founder and senior leadership to drive execution, alignment, and accountability across the organization.

This role exists to ensure that priorities are translated into action, projects are completed on time, and nothing falls through the cracks. 

You will act as the Founder’s right hand, bringing structure to ambiguity, discipline to execution, and clarity to cross-functional work.

You will have authority to drive execution across teams and hold individuals accountable to outcomes.

This is a high-leverage operator role, not an administrative one. We’re looking for someone who thinks in systems, moves quickly, and holds a high bar for performance.

You will help architect two firms, work directly with the founder, have real authority, and build something with a small group of obsessive operators who care deeply about standards.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Execution & Project Leadership

  • Translate founder priorities into clear execution plans
  • Lead and manage cross-functional initiatives from start to finish
  • Build structured workback schedules and ensure adherence
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and misalignment early
  • Ensure key initiatives are delivered on time and at a high standard

Organizational Alignment & Accountability

  • Implement and run a weekly operating cadence across teams
  • Track all major initiatives, deliverables, and ownership
  • Enforce single-threaded ownership across projects
  • Hold team members accountable to deadlines and outcomes
  • Ensure clarity on “who owns what” at all times

Founder Extension & Decision Support

  • Act as an extension of the Founder in meetings and internal discussions
  • Represent priorities and ensure follow-through when the Founder is not present
  • Prepare briefings, summaries, and decision frameworks
  • Help prioritize time, focus, and resource allocation
  • Provide honest feedback and challenge thinking when needed

Systems, Process & Operational Discipline

  • Design and implement systems that improve execution quality
  • Build and maintain dashboards for visibility across clients and projects
  • Identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement
  • Standardize workflows, reporting, and communication structures
  • Ensure the organization operates like a tight ship

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work across delivery, sales, marketing, and finance teams
  • Ensure teams are aligned on priorities and timelines
  • Remove blockers and drive decisions forward
  • Facilitate communication between leadership and execution teams

AI Implementation & Innovation

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s AI adoption strategy
  • Identify high impact opportunities to integrate AI across all business verticals
  • Drive implementation of AI tools and workflows to improve efficiency, decision-making, and scalability
  • Partner with leadership to ensure AI initiatives align with overall business objectives and growth strategy
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging AI capabilities and continuously optimize internal systems and processes

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years experience in operations, consulting, startups, or similar environments
  • Proven experience managing complex projects across teams
  • Strong ability to prioritize and execute under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong systems thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Experience working closely with founders or senior leadership preferred
