Purpose
Provides input into the strategic direction, leadership and oversight for finance matters for International Wealth
Management (IWM) finance business partners, ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are
supported in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Responsible for defining, managing, directing, delivering, planning and forecasting the overall financial
processes, controls and reporting of data for International Wealth Management.
As a key partner to the overall IWM Finance management team the Director, IWM Finance is responsible for
providing in-depth financial analysis to support the Global Wealth Management Profit Plan, Forecasts, and
providing ongoing P&L and profitability review. This includes applying analytics to develop and enhance the
financial intelligence capabilities of Global Wealth Management Finance around planning and forecasting,
financial analysis, regulatory changes, financial methodology, and strategic planning.
Is This Role Right for You? In this role, you will:
Provide insightful analysis related to the health and mix of the International Wealth Management AUA /
AUM and P&L
Support ad hoc analysis requests as required
Develop and maintain strong working relationships within Global Wealth Management Finance and
Global Wealth Management business units as well as divisional support functions as required
Direct financial reviews or initiatives to support strategic priorities and/or improve management processes and standardize methodologies. Implement and maintain constantly evolving performance measurement practices, and reporting.
Lead the planning, forecasting and reporting for IWM growth and financial metrics across channels by:
Work with the Business Line to build annual plans and quarterly/multi-year forecasts for the entire portfolio, including all balance sheet and P&L items (including Strategic Investments Pool projects)
Lead the development of portfolio stress-testing scenarios
Work with Finance partners, provide stewardship on behalf of the business line and initiate enhancements where required
Lead the production of various monthly and quarterly performance dashboards and scorecards including value-added performance commentary and variance analysis.
Direct day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank’s risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits. Communicate the Bank’s risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout their teams.
Create an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management
Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the
Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Do You Have the Skills?
MBA and/or Accounting Designation preferred
Minimum of 10 years directly related experience in a financial area
Fluency in Spanish an asset
Thorough knowledge of Global Wealth Management’s products/services, business lines, financial reports, compliance, performance measurement, planning and analysis, service standards, legal and regulatory requirements.
Must have comprehensive knowledge of management/accounting methods and practices including product profitability, ROE measurement techniques. The incumbent must be able to assess complex business cases including large acquisition/divestiture proposals.
