in our projects. As the Director of Construction – Modularization at Worley , you will lead our construction modularization efforts and provide specialized guidance in modularization implementation across major capital expenditure (CAPEX) engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects.
Your primary responsibility will be ensuring production and quality excellence across
diverse
and
challenging projects
worldwide.
You will
oversee construction teams, subcontractors, engineering / design teams, and quality inspectors, driving efficiency and compliance with technical standards and codes.
Key Responsibilities
Project
Leadership
:
Lead construction activities for major CAPEX projects, fostering a
collaborative team
-centric approach. Utilize your extensive experience to ensure rigorous planning, estimating, and execution management. Expertise:
Leverage your experience, particularly as a recognized Modularization subject matter expert, to adapt and excel in
diverse
environments. System Commissioning:
Apply your thorough background in commissioning, planning, and execution to establish front-end requirements that streamline ramp-up to steady-state operations. Modularization Mastery:
Utilize your expertise in modularization, including TIC evaluation, planning, engineering/design, fabrication, transportation, installation, and commissioning, to optimize project outcomes. As a modularization expert, you will provide specialized
leadership
and guidance in this critical area.
You will
be responsible to help lead team(s) in the development of project specific modularization plan(s) and modularization deliverables (based on Canada West corporate standards); and ensure it is in line with construction, completions, and commissioning needs. Focus:
Demonstrate specialized knowledge and experience in industry projects, ensuring compliance with industry-specific standards and practices. Contract Management:
Demonstrate proficiency in both direct hire and subcontract management delivery methods to achieve project objectives efficiently. Due Diligence:
Showcase
your ability
to perform seller/buyer/lender-side acquisition due diligence by conducting technical evaluations of operating facilities, expansions, and greenfield projects. Project Lifecycle Expertise:
Apply your experience across the entire project lifecycle, from conceptual planning through design development, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup, to ensure successful project delivery. Team Management:
