Duties
- Collaborate with team members, medical providers, and family members to develop and update individualized care plans tailored to each client
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and assist residents with meal consumption as needed
- Support clients during activities and social events to promote engagement and community involvement
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks in accordance with health standards
- Document care activities, client progress, and incident reports meticulously
- Assist with transportation for appointments or community outings, ensuring safety during transit using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster trust, dignity, and independence among clients
- Follow all safety procedures including CPR and first aid protocols in emergency situations such as falls or medical crises
