- Make social skills practice fun, engaging, and confidence-building.
- Lead exciting group activities that turn everyday moments into adventure
Independent Living Services (ILS) – Building Skills for Everyday Independence
- Empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently as possible in their homes and communities.
- Provide personalized instruction in essential daily living skills, including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal care.
- Support the development of safe and effective routines for managing a household.
- Teach clients how to access and navigate community resources such as banking, healthcare, and public services.
- Provide hands-on training in using public transportation and community mobility.
- Assist individuals in setting and achieving personal goals related to independence and self-sufficiency.
- Offer guidance in decision-making, problem-solving, and self-advocacy.
- Promote health and safety awareness in the home and community.
- Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities to enhance quality of life.
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation of progress, services, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and support teams to ensure consistent and individualized care.
- Foster dignity, respect, and a person-centered approach in all services.
- Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to build confidence and long-term independence.
Community-Based Program (CBP) (East-County Area)
- Support individuals in community settings by assisting with daily living skills, social development, and participation in recreational, vocational, and educational activities.
- Promote independence and inclusion by teaching life skills, encouraging choice-making, and helping individuals build relationships within the community.
- Ensure health, safety, and progress toward goals by providing supervision, following individualized service plans, documenting services, and collaborating with program staff and community partners.
Tailored Day Services DSP: Community Intergration / School & Employment Support

- Support individuals in building confidence and independence within their community.
- Assist clients in exploring career paths, gaining job skills, and preparing for employment opportunities.
- Provide coaching and guidance on social skills in a fun, engaging, and supportive way.
- Lead creative and meaningful group or 1:1 activities that turn everyday moments into memorable learning experiences.
- Support clients with school-related goals, including organization, planning, classwork, and advocacy.
- Help individuals navigate public transportation, community resources, and independent living skills.
- Encourage participation in recreational, social, and advocacy events in the community.
- Document daily progress, sessions, and outcomes clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with supervisors, families, and team members to ensure clients receive individualized support.
- Promote dignity, respect, and person-centered care in every interaction.
- Foster opportunities for clients to make friendships, expand their social networks, and build personal identity.
- Provide motivation, encouragement, and positive reinforcement to help clients reach their long-term goals.
Perks of the Position:
Day Program has a Set Schedule: Monday–Friday, with a consistent schedule you can count on.
ILS – Flexible Schedule – You create the schedule with the individuals you provide service for.
TDS – Flexible Schedule – You create the schedule with the individuals you provide service for.
Pay: $18/hr -$2/hr health benefits, mileage reimbursement, and cell phone contribution.
No Experience? No Problem! We provide all the training you need.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
✅A valid driver’s license
✅ A registered and insured passenger vehicle
✅ Access to a computer or laptop
✅ Must be at least 21 years old
