In this on-site position, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in accurate patient diagnosis. Maintain ultrasound equipment, produce quality images, and document results in clinical systems. Prioritize infection control and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while collaborating closely with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ultrasound examinations following established medical standards
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for patient treatment
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound technology effectively
• Document results carefully in Cerner and other clinical systems
• Ensure patient comfort and confidentiality during procedures
Requirements:
• Certification with Sonography Canada or ARDMS is mandatory
• Eligible to work as a Sonographer in British Columbia
• Preferred recent experience in hospital or urgent care settings
• Strong organizational and communication skills necessary
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
