LeverageTek is actively seeking a Desktop & End User Support Analyst (Tier 1) for a 4-month contract with its Toronto, ON-based customer.

Work Location

The successful candidate will be required to work 5 days per week on-site at the customer headquarters in downtown Toronto.

Key Tasks

  • Provide first-level technical support to end users, including deskside, remote, and walk-up support
  • Manage and resolve incidents and service requests via the ServiceNow ticketing system
  • Perform hardware and software troubleshooting for laptops (Microsoft Surface), MacBooks, iPhones, and peripherals
  • Image, configure, and deploy end-user devices, including laptops and mobile phones
  • Support MDM enrollment and mobile device troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot Google Workspace issues (Gmail, Google Drive, Meet, etc.)
  • Perform basic Active Directory tasks, including password resets and account management
  • Troubleshoot AV and meeting room technology issues
  • Escalate complex incidents to second-level support following established procedures
  • Liaise between end users and the Ottawa-based End User Support team for remote ticket resolution
  • Maintain adherence to SLA requirements and escalate breaches as required
  • Follow established Desktop & End User Support processes and procedures

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3+ years of experience in a service desk or desktop and end user support role, including providing desk-side support
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory (password resets, account management), Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar), and end-user device support: Windows, MacOS, iOS (iPhone)
  • Familiarity with MDM platforms and mobile device enrollment/troubleshooting

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Surface devices
  • Familiarity with basic IP networking concepts
  • Experience with a ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred; equivalent acceptable)
  • Ability to image and configure laptops and mobile devices
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; comfortable supporting all levels of staff, including senior leadership
  • Ability to work fully on-site 5 days per week

Compensation

Hourly Rate Negotiable
