Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth operation of our practice.
Duties:
– Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
– Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using Dentrix. Working knowledge of Dentrix is an asset.
– Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries
– Collect patient information, update records, and ensure accuracy of all data
– Manage patient check-in and check-out process, including collecting payments and providing receipts
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
– Assist with billing and insurance payments
– Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
– Handle patient inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional customer service
Experience:
– Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
– Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance
– Proficient in using Dentrix is an asset but will train the right candidate
– Strong administrative skills, including data entry, scheduling, and record keeping
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
– Knowledge of office phone systems and general office equipment
