Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, performing dental radiographs, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, knowledge of dental software Dentrix , and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
– Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients
– Take dental radiographs, photos and digital scans
– Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment and mainitain log books
– Set up treatment rooms for procedures
– Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
– Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
– Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
– Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow
Experience:
– Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
– Knowledge of dental software Dentrix is a plus
– Familiarity with Sedation, INVISLAIGN, pediatrics is desirable
– Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
