We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and friendly Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team in Arcata, CA.
This is an entry to intermediate-level position with opportunities to grow in a supportive and team-oriented environment. Training will be provided for motivated candidates.
BASIC DUTIES:
- Assist the doctor chairside during dental procedures
- Room set-up and break-down
- Take dental x-rays (Radiation Safety certification highly desirable)
- Sterilization of instruments (infection control certificate required)
- Maintain clean and organized treatment areas
- Assist with general cleaning and operatory preparation
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Willingness to assist at the front desk when needed
- Support other areas of the dental office as a team member
- Help ensure smooth daily office operations
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
- Infection Control Certificate required.
- X-ray (Radiation Safety) certification is highly desirable
- Friendly, reliable, patient, and team-oriented personality
- Willingness to learn and be trained in multiple roles
