Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving and warehouse responsibilities, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient inventory management. Duties
- Safely operate box trucks or similar commercial vehicles to deliver electrical supplies to customers’ locations
- Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques
- Verify delivery orders, ensure accuracy of shipments, and obtain customer signatures upon delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, including inventory management and stock rotation
- Follow established routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, stacking pallets, and preparing orders for shipment
- Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service at every touchpoint
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar vehicles
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, forklift operation, and pallet jack use
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving and route planning
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to moving equipment and driving in various conditions
