JOB Description: Class B CDL Delivery Driver, Material Handler, Forklift driver, Light fabrication duties. We are an smaller firm that values Old School work ethic, and we offer a fast-paced work environment with a diverse work load.
This position is comprised of Making Local Deliveries on a Straight Truck, Material Handling, and some fabrication Duties.
- Equipment used: 2025 Kenworth T380 Straight truck with a 30′ Alum Flatbed: 33,000#’s GVWR
- 2020 Kenworth T270 Straight truck with a 26′ Steel Flatbed and 7,500# Aft Mount Boom: 26,000#’s GVWR
- 2014 For F550 Straight truck with a 17′-6" Steel Flatbed and 3,500# tuck under lift gate: 19,900#’s GVWR
- (4) 6,000-8,000# Doosan Sit down Cantilever Propane forklifts.
Requirements: Class B CDL, with Airbrake Endorsement.
Clean driving Record. (as required by our Insurance company).
Daily Operations in Order of Importance and Frequency:
Load Flatbed trucks with Misc Metals, Stairways, and Hand railings.
Deliver Misc Metals, Stairways, and Hand railings to Jobsites in the Metro Area.
Deliver and Pick up at Galvanizer and Anodizer.
Organize Materials in a 2 Acre yard.
Transfer Material in/out of shop and paint facility.
Occasional pre-fabrication operations:
Saw Cutting.
Overhead crane use.
Shearing, drilling, and material handling in Shop.
Filling out Ship tickets (occasionally).
Communicate with Ironworkers, shop Manager, and Project Managers.
Use of Skid steer for snow removal in winter.
Work Hours: First Shift; full time hire.
- Monday-Thursday 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
- Friday 6:30 AM -11:30 AM
Skills: Safe and Efficient Equipment operation.
Work background: 5 + Years of Class B CDL experience.
2 + Years of Sit-down Forklift Experience.
Education: High school diploma preferred.
