Job Description:
Produce distribution company seeking a full-time truck driver for deliveries in the GTA.
Ability to drive a 24ft straight truck / 5-ton truck (G license)
Candidate should be seeking long term employment.
Full Time: 6 days per week (Monday through Saturday)
Start Time: 5:00am (4:00am during the training period)
Note: Hours of work will vary day to day depending on the workload
Location: Scarborough (Lawrence & Midland)
Start: Immediately
Job Requirements:
The candidate must hold a valid “G” License
Must be able to provide a current drivers abstract
Experience driving a 24ft straight truck / 5-ton truck
Clean driving record – (insurance company needs to approve you)
Responsibilities:
physically able to lift 50lbs
must understand the physical aspects of the job
friendly and professional customer service skills
load merchandise into and off delivery vehicles
check paperwork to ensure accurate deliveries
must be punctual
