Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations. Your role will involve operating commercial vehicles, handling freight, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Duties:
– Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
– Load and unload cargo from the delivery vehicle
– Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure on-time deliveries
– Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic automotive repairs as needed
– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery receipts and mileage logs
– Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
– Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
– Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle maintenance
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
– Strong communication and customer service skills
