Growth and Development Opportunities

As a seasoned driving professional with a passion for customer service, you are confident navigating Winnipeg and its surrounding area in a larger truck, as well as tricky customer yard and dock layouts. You are someone who enjoys working independently, and are recognized as being someone who ‘gets the job done’. You have an eye for detail – especially when it comes to being able to identify and help manage inventory stock levels. You understand the importance of anticipating the needs of your customers – both external and internal. You like to take ownership of your role, and look for opportunities to do things more efficiently. You’re no stranger to hard work (you enjoy it, actually!) and prefer to be outside and moving rather than at a desk or in a chair.

As a Professional Driver, you will:

Be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and exchange of compressed gas and liquid cylinders from the filling plant to our operations.

Load/unload cylinder inventory while following all company processes, policies and safety standards. As you do so, you will seek opportunities to make dock and delivery activities easier and more efficient.

Perform deliveries in a professional manner and maintain appropriate paperwork associated with a Class 3 vehicle with air licence and the transport of dangerous goods (TDG) certification.

Provide support and relief to Logistics team, including shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations.

Have your Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years’ previous experience as a Delivery Driver or another relevant role.

Have a valid Class 3 Manitoba licence with air endorsement, with a clear driving abstract.

Be physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling weights of up to 75 lbs, as well as confident maneuvering equipment up to 1500 lbs (with proper lifting/pushing apparatus and techniques).

Be comfortable with handheld scanning technology, and familiar with the Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
