Dunrovin Country Store is searching for a dependable, self-motivated, and courteous team member who enjoys working closely with others. Sales Associates will work behind the register helping customers, making sandwiches, slicing deli meets, and serving ice cream, fudge, and coffee. We are a family-oriented business that loves making our customers happy and ensuring they have a wonderful visit every time inside the store. We are looking for positive and cheerful applicants. Part-time hours are available with a flexible schedule and weekend hours are needed with opportunity for full time. We offer weekly pay, flexible scheduling, opportunities to grow with the business, and an employee discount on store purchases. Pay plus decent daily tips.
Duties
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Provide assistance and information on products
- Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions
- Maintain store’s visual appearance
- Actively seek work to complete when not helping customers such as cleaning, organizing, stocking, etc.
- Ability to work long periods of time without sitting down
- Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
- Build productive trust relationships with customers
- Comply with inventory control procedures
Skills
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficiency in English
- Basic math skills
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
- Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
- Baking experience is a plus
