Deli Shift Lead Jobs in North Kingsville, OH at Orlando’s Supermarket
PREVIOUS RESTAURANT AND/OR DELI MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Duties
- Lead daily deli operations, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional customer service throughout your shift
- Supervise food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold quality standards and safety regulations
- Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Train and mentor team members on food handling, safety procedures, and customer service best practices
- Oversee staff scheduling, shift management, and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in hiring processes by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service or fast food restaurants; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training, development, and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and restaurant management operations
- Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous; barista or coffee experience can be beneficial
